So today's episode, I actually had a whole different topic in mind, but there was a topic or something that I read that really bothered ready touchdown in my and my spirit. I just wanted to have a conversation with you all about that. But I saw yesterday that the US Supreme Court, the highest court in the country then get no higher than them, voted did he. I didn't even add no idea this, this was even on their agenda in any shape form of fashion. But they voted to overturn completely row versus weight. Now, for those of you don't know what row versus weight is, what it means. It means the right for woman to terminate her pregnancy if she chooses to, her life her body.

2:28 So that was a huge deal back in when it was in court and everything. It's before my time, you know, but still it held on. True, there were laws put in place in certain states after that the case to be able to manage and regulate that decision. But somewhere down the line, in somewhere recently, in the last number of years or so, have been, you know, the state's putting in laws here and there. You know, one of these states is Texas, outlawing or making abortion illegal perfectly after six weeks, saying that in six weeks, you know, you cannot then in turn termit to pregnancy. Well, those of us. You know who. You know the science class or no biology or past biology. We know that most women, you know it's not all, but most women don't know, realize they're pregnant until they're around six weeks or so. So you mean to tell me that this woman in turn find out she's pregnant, or mean not goin to she spread to see six weeks or later now in turn, Oh, it's illegal to get an abortion. Oh you're going to go to jail ifew abhord this, this pregnancy really, but tell me how.

4:05 I just think it's utterly ridiculous. Now, I'm not saying I'm pro life or not saying I'm pro choice. I don't have, I'll have a dog in that fight in any shape form of fashion, because I'm main but I do think and I do believe, and I believe this whole heart. I stand down that woman. That woman has a right to say if she's whether she's talked about it, you know, with a spouse, boyfriend or other mitigating circumstances. I think she has a right to say whether or not she chooses to bring a life into this world, she chooses to terminate that pregnancy, go through that pregnancy or whatever the case may be. I think that woman has that right. I don't think the government, president, judicial system, legislative system, any of them, has the right to tell any woman that she has to have a child that she may or may not want, because that's that's that's that's be real about this. Cousins and can folks, let's take a look at this thing. Most people who are all rowdy about

5:36 this Lisa, the same people that don't want to give assistance and taking care of these children. Let this sink in for a moment. The same people who are up in an uproar about banning abortion. Woman should have a baby, save this life, but when that life gets here, you're dead set against if this woman isn't in the position to be able to financially take care of this child, you then in turn or against government assistance in helping this woman take care of this child. So make it makes sense to meet people.

6:30 It doesn't make sense to me and it is shape form of fashion. Now, I'm not saying that I'm the smartest apple in the room or the sharpest tool in the tool box, but I got common sense and I'm here to tell you the math, and that as as some of my folks say that mad think math and in any shape form of fashion. You feel me, it's not so. Now, after however many decades, the Supreme Court has decided to overturn roll versus way to make abortion completely illegal. So you mean this, it and tail me, and I don't know when this is going to go into effect. I once I find out more, I'll do I'll follow up on that in a later episode, but not quite sure right now when it will take effect. But in the event when it does, so you mean the all. Mean let's say, for instance, we have a woman that may have been sexually assaulted and this person, this creature, didn't use protection and she may have not have been able to get into the hospital time enough for them to give her a plan be. Or she did.

7:56 Let's say the plan be didn't work. She finds out she's pregnant. So you're going to make this woman who has been assaulted now have to intern for the next nine months, be constantly and that she's already dealing with it, but be constantly reminded every time she every moment of every second of every day, of what this horrible person did to her. She's to be reminded, with this child growing inside of her. Now there's some maybe women that are maybe okay with it and may be able to be able to mentally an emotionally handle it. And if they choose to go forward with it and say that they're going to love that child regardless, that's fine. If you're religious beliefs, of views of hinder you from doing that in any shape form of fashion, that's fine as well. But again, it should be that woman's choice not to be made, hear me clearly, not to be made to, in turn, go through every gestational period of this child growing inside of her and being constantly reminded of what happened to her. It shouldn't happen.

9:26 That's horrible, that'ss and you made. That's in humanity, no matter how you look at it, how you try to conceive it. That's even my point of view, and again this is just my opinion now, cousins and King folks, but my Olp, in my point of view, that's just as agregious as the assault on her. Now she's being made by the government to have this child. She's not only been assaulted once and violated, she has been assaulted twice by the government, because now they're mentally and emotionally assaulting her, making her carried this child to turn. No, that's crazy.

10:20 I don't care how you flip it, strip it, Cook it, throw it out, the pain on the floor, whatever. I don't care how you do it. It's wrong. It's wrong. It's wrong. What if a situation occurs that, let's say she does get pregnant and this woman has health issues, you know, that could put her life at risk. She may be high risk for pregnancy and, on top of that, something else may happen that you know, the child May may not come out right or something may be wrong, the child may be physically the form of something like that. And this has been determined and whatever. So you're still going to make this woman go through this pregnancy versus just going on and determinate this pregnancy, where as you're putting her and this child's life at risk. Again, should be her choice. If she chooses to do so. Again, that's understood. Will forward. There's nothing to see here. But again, it's still should be her choice, her choice, not again, not the government,

11:58 not the law or anything of that particular nature. This country is supposed to be built into democracy. What's good is the constitution saying that you have right there all these different freedoms, or whatever the case may be. If, in turn, now you're trying to put limits or you trying to restrict these freedoms, make it makes sense. Make it makes sense, but we're you're going to have what you're going to make happen with this and, as I understand again, this is before my time, little bit before my time, and some of it missed. have been going on when I was a kid or whatever the case may be. But I've seen these in these movies and I've heard these stories. What's going to happen is they're going to go back to these back alley doctors having these backali abortions. They're going to go back to going to other countries like Mexico. You know, as I understood when I still live in California, most women with they gotten pregnant, they want to go have an abortion, they go to Tijuana. They go to Tijuana, pay little nothing, have an abortion, combat good to go.

13:20 But this is what you're going to make happen and a lot of that is safe. No one, no woman, should have to go to those extremes for something that she has a right to because, again, it's her body, no government, no agency, and I'm going to even go even further than that. No Man should be able to tell any woman what she can and can't do with her body in any shape form of fashion. No Man or woman, no woman, should have to go through that in any shape form of fashion. That's just how I see that's just my belief. But this has to this this no, no, we're not going for that.

14:22 I'm not going for that. And again, cousins and King folks, this is just my opinion. This is just how I see it. It's just how I see it. But again, no means no and we should respect that. But this whole turnover, this whole ordeal, it's going to turn bad. This is going to be more and more weeks, more and more months, of battles in court, on on, on the local level, state level, to the forward. There are a lot of groups out there now and I'm pretty sure they're going to fight this. But this is this is this is bad. This is a bad look on this nation. It's a slap in the face to all women. It is it's bad look for whatever reason. Again, I don't have all of the details, who, of when or how long this has been on their agenda, this has been on the table, or whatever the case may be, but this is a bad look for the Supreme Court and for those that may have some political agenda

15:56 behind this. Our Mother's, are sisters, are Auntie's and our daughters should not have to pay for this foolishness. Should not at all. So whatever you can do, whatever organization that you may can write in on or email or go talk on talk to somebody on the local level, of Congressman's, your your Alderman's, of City Council persons, whatever the case may be, got to stand up and fight this. This is no this is a note.

16:48 Most of you all to know me. No, I have a saying that. I say that definitely right here. That is a negative. Goes Rider. That is a negative. This cannot stand, this cannot ride. Again, I say no agency, no government, no official, no man can tell a woman what she can or cannot do. It's with the decisions concerning her body. It's her body, it's her choice and we're wrong to try to take that from my mother's, our sisters, Auntie's and I thought us. It's called a spade to spade, not a spade of club.
